Bugatti a livrat ultimul exemplar Veyron unui client european. Unitatea cu numarul 300 incheie cariera comerciala a unuia dintre cele mai remarcabile supercaruri din ultimele decenii. Cumparatorul isi va primi “bijuteria” in toamna.
Modelul francez va continua sa fie produs numai in versiunea Grand Sport, a carui viata este limitata la 150 de exemplare, pana la debutul mult-asteptatului Galibier.
Bugatti a lansat Veyron in anul 2003, la patru ani distanta de la prezentarea conceptului EB 18 / 4. Bolidul s-a facut remarcat printr-o serie de performante notabile: sprintul 0-100 km/h este realizat in doar 2,5 secunde, iar franarea de la 100 la 0 km/h in numai 2,3 secunde si 31,4 metri.
Sub capota Bugatii Veyron respira motorul W16 de 8,0 litri si patru sisteme turbo, care produce un total 1.001 CP.
Dupa ce epoca Veyron va fi apus, Bugatti va oferi clientilor pretentiosi noul Galibier. Sedanul de lux ar putea fi produs in numar de 3.000 de exemplare, la un pret de peste 1 milion de euro si ar putea primi numele Royale.
